Our River, Our Responsibility. Get The Basics Right
Send us an email tell us a bit about your connection to the River and if you are interested in either:
- Option 1 – go on our email list and receive opportunities to take online actions and stay informed.
As we build support, we will be asking the community to take simple online actions to show decision makers that people care about the river.
- Option 2 – become a Macquarie/Wambuul River Ambassador, learn some pretty cool skills while you make a real difference for the river.

There are two parts to becoming a Macquarie/Wambuul River Ambassador:
Part 1
- Collect river fact cards
- Make a list of questions
- Adopt a place on the river
- Light up your socials with river love content
Part 2 – make a donation (the amount you’re comfortable giving) to continue
- Healthy Group Building skills – team up with your friends who want to help
- Letter writing skills
- Speaking in public
- Meet Mayors and MPs
